Yaw serves as the HR Lead and is experienced in HR strategy, execution, stakeholder management and team leadership.

Yaw has over a decade’s experience driving HR best practice, out of which six years has been with a single employer; one of Ghana’s leading banks. Experienced in both generalist and specialist advisory roles, Yaw has worked across the whole HR life cycle, including the creation of an HR team from scratch.

He offers total dedication to performance excellence and is particularly adept at leading change management that optimizes the alignment of HR operations with an employer’s strategic objectives.

Yaw continuously develops his proficiency, applying the latest methodology and industry consensus to generate pragmatic solutions to real-world challenges. At Stanbic Bank, he was instrumental to a transformation of culture, process and behaviour, a key member of the leadership team that remodeled HR into a modern business partnering department.

Yaw’s success has been driven by a collaborative approach to stakeholder management plus his talent for building consensus aligned to Executive level objectives. An instinctive creator of loyal and cohesive teams, he is a motivational manager who is expert at identifying, attracting and developing high performing staff.

Yaw graduated with a BA (Hons) in HR Management (The University of Northampton) in 2006 and then a Masters in Personnel & Development (CIPD) from De Montfort University in 2007; studies which included the publication of his thesis, ‘The Impact of Effective Communication on the Perceptions of Employees’ which is available on Amazon.
